Plus, $6 a month

On the hard days, the AI picks your three.

Some days the choosing is the hard part. Tell Actto your energy and your hours, and it picks your three for you, with a reason on each one.

Plan for me

Sort the pile on the desk

Ten minutes, and you keep walking past it.

It picks your three, and says why it picked each one.

The rest of the app takes decisions away from you. This takes away the last one, for days when even three feels like too many.

Every pick comes with the sentence explaining it. A planner that decides without explaining is a black box. If you have already given up on five apps, you will not trust a sixth that refuses to explain itself.

It can also plan a week or a month, putting real dates on things so they stop all being due today.

Plan for meLow energy, 4 hours

Nothing is locked in. Swap one out and it re-picks around what you kept.

What you're paying for.

  1. 01

You pay for the choosing, not for the app

Everything you need to plan a day is free: your three priorities, the energy filter, the hours math and the whole reward system. What Plus adds is Actto making the choice for you.

  2. 02

    Brain-dump tidy

It tidies up your brain dump, and when one note is really three tasks it separates them for you. Nobody enjoys doing that by hand.

  3. 03

    Week and month planning

It spreads dates across weeks or months, so a month of work stops arriving all at once as today.

A black box, or a reason on each one.

On the days when even three is too many to choose from, something else has to pick. That only works if you can see why it picked.

What an AI planner usually does

Here is your day

  • No reason given
  • It moves things you had settled
  • Confident, and sometimes wrong

Every pick comes with the reason it was picked, so you can disagree with one and swap it.

What this one does

Here is your day, and why

  • A sentence on every choice
  • Swap one and it picks again
  • Nothing is locked in

It reads what you told it about your tasks and your hours. It does not know why today is hard, and it does not pretend to.

What it won't do

You pay for this one, so the limits matter even more.

  • It isn't a coach and it isn't a therapist. It works from your tasks, your tags and the hours you gave it, and nothing else.

  • It can't plan around what you never captured. A day that goes wrong because of the thing that was only ever in your head is a thing no planner can help with.

  • You don't have to use it. On the free plan you don't get it at all, and the capacity meter does the same arithmetic without it. Plenty of people will never need this.

Questions

$6 a month, or $48 a year which works out at $4 a month. The trial is 14 days, it takes no card, and it turns into the free plan on its own if you do nothing.
No, and on the free plan you don't get it at all. The capacity meter does the same math with no AI involved and costs nothing. The planner is for the days when choosing between three things is still too much.
Yes. Switch the planner to Tomorrow and it asks about the hours you will actually have then. Planning tomorrow never touches today's three priorities, so you can do it in the evening with today half finished.
It stays in your account. We don't sell it and we don't train anything on it. Deleting your account really deletes it.

Try Plus for fourteen days.

It opens an ordinary account, asks for no card, and lapses to Free on its own if you do nothing.
